THE MORAY COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, ROTHES – AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2017

The Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the Order which will come into operation on 09/03/18 will be to amend the existing waiting restrictions to allow for the removal of a short length of double yellow lines on Station Street, Rothes and the addition of a short length of double yellow lines on Station Lane, Rothes as described in the Schedule to the Order. The reason for the amendments is to take into account changing road conditions due to the expansion of local businesses. The Order is as specified in the Northern Scot on 15/12/17.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act are not being complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 26/01/18 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
