THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(CAR BOOT SALES – CURRIE ROAD CAR PARK, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order will come into force on 3 March 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 24 November 2024 on the dates and at the times detailed below. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of relevant events, being car boot sales in the east section of Currie Road Car Park, Galashiels.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle; and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, in the east section of Currie Road Car Park, Galashiels between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on the following dates:

3 and 31 March 2024; 7 and 28 April 2024; 5 and 26 May 2024; 2 and 30 June 2024; 7 and 28 July 2024; 4 and 25 August 2024; 1 and 29 September 2024; 6 and 27 October 2024; 3 and 24 November 2024.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
