(B7016 BROUGHTON TO SOUTHMAINS)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (B7016 Broughton to Southmains) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 25 January 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 5 February 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7016 from Broughton to Southmains.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B7016, A702, A72 and A701 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
