(CASTLE WYND & THE AVENUE, LAUDER)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Castle Wynd & The Avenue, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 November 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 11 December 2020 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for new service connections.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Castle Wynd and The Avenue, Lauder.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Castle Wynd, The Row, the A68 and The Avenue to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
