(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Beanburn, Ayton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 9 October 2020 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 30 October 2020 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for installation of a new foul drain.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Beanburn, Ayton from Kirklands House to Summerhill Park.

The alternative route for westbound traffic is via Beanburn, the B6355, D111/6, D112/6 and Beanburn to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
