(GALALAW ROAD, HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2020

The Scottish Borders Council (Galalaw Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 24 February 2020 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for Scottish Water manhole repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Galalaw Road, Hawick.

The alternative route for westbound traffic is via Galalaw Road, Hillend Drive, Fraser Avenue, Kenilworth Avenue, Eildon Road and Galalaw Road to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
