(C106 AND C107 NEAR ABBEY ST BATHANS)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2017

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 5 December 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 7 December 2017. The Order is required for BT network upgrade works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads:

(a)   Phase 1 - the C107 from Bankend to its junction with the C106 from 08:00 on 5 December 2017 to 18:00 on 6 December 2017; and

(b)   Phase 2 – the C106 from its junction with the C107 to Moorhouse from 08:00 on 6 December to 18:00 on 7 December 2017.

Phase 2 will only commence when Phase 1 has been completed.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C107, B6355, A6112 and C106 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
