(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 December 2017 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days – 24 hour closure. The closure is required for sewer connections and external works for a new development.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Union Street, Kelso from its junction with Roxburgh Street to its junction with Crawford Street.
The alternative route is via Roxburgh Street and Bowmont Street to the point of closure.
