Pollock Street & A723 Merry Street, Motherwell - North Lanarkshire Archived

On 29 January 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on carriageway re-surfacing works) on the undernoted roads by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Pollock Street, Motherwell over its entire length

A723 Merry Street, Motherwell from the extended line of the southern kerb of Pollock Street to the extended line of the eastern kerb of A721 Muir Street.

Alternative Routes: vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing to travel to the south westwards side of the closure should proceed south eastwards then southwards on A721 Mentieth Road, south westwards then north westwards on A721 West Hamilton Road to the south west side of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Sunday, 11 February 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 25 February 2018.
