Temporary Restrictions – Glasgow Rd & Gilmour Street, Eaglesham
A Temporary Restriction Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access to a section of Glasgow Road, Eaglesham and also access to sections of Glasgow Road and Gilmour Street Eaglesham from a number of side road junctions in order to safely facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried out on or near these roads.
The Order will be in operation from Monday 1st July until Friday 12th July 2019 or on the completion of the works if sooner.
The Order will permit the closures of:
• Glasgow Road - from Humbie Road to Balfearn Drive
• Humbie Road - at its junction with Glasgow Road
• Alexander Avenue - at its junction with Glasgow Road
• Balfearn Drive - at its junction with Glasgow Road
• Holehouse Road - at its junction with Glasgow Road
• Tarff Avenue - at its junction with Gilmour Street
• Airyligg Drive - at its junction with Gilmour Street
• Gilmour Crescent - at its junction with Gilmour Street
• Polnoon Street - at its junction with Gilmour Street
The above closures will not all be in effect at the same time. The resurfacing works will be carried out in a number of phases enabling access to alternative routes whilst specific closures are implemented. The alternative routes will be signed accordingly.
