ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT East Ayrshire Council propose to make an order under section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of the order is East Ayrshire Council (B7081 Kilmarnock Road, Crosshouse and B7081 Irvine Road, Kilmarnock) (Redetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 202-

 

A copy of the proposed order and of the accompanying plan showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined, together with a statement of the reasons for making the order are available for inspection online from Tuesday 23 February 202 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/notices/east-ayrshire/traffic/00000xxxx or can be emailed to interested parties on request by contacting us at the address below or by emailing enquiries@ayrshireroadsalliance.org.

Any person may, within 28 days from 23/02/21 object to the making of the order by notice in writing to Interim Head of Roads, Ayrshire Roads Alliance, Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

B7081 Kilmarnock Road, Crosshouse

 
  1. The footway on the northern side of Kilmarnock Road from its junction with the B7064 at Dalespark Roundabout westwards to a point 76m west of the western entrance to Crosshouse Hospital a total distance of 762m or thereby.

  1. The footway on the southern side of Kilmarnock Road, from a point in line with the extended western kerbline of Fardalehill View westwards to a point in line with the property boundary between no88 and no86 Kilmarnock Road (opposite Woodbank Road) a distance of 196m or thereby

B7081 Irvine Road, Kilmarnock

 
  1. The footway on the northern side of Irvine Road from a point in line with the extended western kerbline of the U35 Fardalehill westwards to its junction with the B7064 at Dalespark Roundabout, a distance of 351m or thereby.
