On 21/07/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person (except persons engaged on the stair repair works) to travel on the stairs that are between Craigview Rd and East Strand, Newmilns, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 10/08/20 until 24:00 hrs on 16/08/20, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route
Pedestrians should proceed via Craigview Rd, Main St and East Strand and vice versa.
