On 12/11/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for the reason of maintaining public safety and convenience during the holding of Illuminight 2019 event at Dean Castle, Kilmarnock.

Prohibition of Waiting Thursday to Sunday inclusive from 16:00 hrs to 21:00 hrs
This Order makes it unlawful for any vehicle to wait from 16:00 hrs until 21:00 hrs daily on—
South Dean Rd (north and northwest side) from a point 40 m west of Dean Rd to No. 27, South Dean Rd and Kennedy Dr (both sides, excluding the laybys) from a point 20 m north of South Dean Rd northwards and north-eastwards to its junctions with Lauder Court, Kilmarnock.
The Order shall come into force at 16:00 hrs on 14/11/19 until 21:00 hrs on 17/11/19 and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
