On Monday 18th July 2011 East Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the bridge repair works) on U722, Cleuch Burn Bridge, (from appoint 50 metres north of the bridge to a point 50 metres south of the bridge), Mauchline, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation at 00:01 hours on Monday 1st August 2011 and will remain in operation until 24:00 hours on Friday 23rd September 2011, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier.
The Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: Diverted traffic should proceed via U722 Sorn westbound, B7037 Sorn southbound, B743 Sorn eastbound and U79 Mauchline northbound and vice versa.
