Notice of Proposal to Hold a Public Procession under Section 62 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982

Route: The procession will gather at the entrance to Meadowbank Road, at the junction with Main Street, on the east side of Kirknewton Village then head westwards along Main Street, for approximately 0.5 miles, passing the turn-off to Forth View on the right hand side of the direction of travel. Also passing by the turn-off for Smithy Brae and Whitemoss Road, both on the left hand side of the direction of travel. The procession will continue westwards passing Kirknewton Park on the left hand side and passing Park Terrace on the right hand side of the direction of travel. The procession will finish and gather, at the small car park and grassy area, where West Lothian Council erect the Christmas Tree annually. The small car park is situated adjacent to the junction with Main Street and Station Road
