This ORDER will close the roads and suspend the parking on:-
Friars Street For its entire length;
King Street From the point where it meets Murray Place to the ‘No Entry’ signs opposite The Steeple;
Murray Place From its junction with Station Road to the point where it meets King Street.
Port Street Pedestrianised area.
The road closures will be from 0500 hours until 1900 hours on 22-10-22.
Emergency Service access will be maintained.
Some delivery access may be granted, prior agreement will be required.
Alternative Routes: via Station Road, Goosecroft Road, Wellgreen, Port Street, Dumbarton Road, Corn Exchange Road
This ORDER will also prohibit waiting, except for blue badge holders-
Corn Exchange Road On the north-west side thereof in the layby currently reserved for use by permit holders, approximately 13 metres south-east of the projected south-west kerbline of Spittal Street.
The parking suspensions and waiting restrictions will be from 1900 hours on 21-10-22 until 1900 hours on 22-10-22. All restrictions are in the interests of public safety for an Open Streets event
