The Stirling Council (Adamson Place / Johnston Avenue, Cornton, Stirling) (Temporary Road / Footway Closure and Suspension of Parking and (Ledi View, Cornton, Stirling) (Temporary Road Closure and Suspension of Parking) Order 2022 - Stirling Archived

This Order will close:-

Adamson Place (Phase 1)         From its junction with Johnston Avenue to the junction between property numbers 56 and 15 Adamson Place, and;

Johnston Avenue (Phase 2)       From its junction with Ledi View to its junction with Adamson Place, and:

Ledi View (Phase 3)                  From its junction with Johnston Avenue for its entire length.

The Order will also close the footway and suspend the parking on:-

Adamson Place (Phase 1)         On both sides of the road, from its junction with Johnston Avenue in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 70 metres or thereby, and;

The Order will suspend the parking on:-

Johnston Avenue (Phase 2)       On both sides of the road, from its junction with Ledi View to its junction with Adamson Place.

Ledi View (Phase 3)                  On both sides of the road, from its junction with Johnston Avenue for its entire length.

The Order will also close the footway on:-

Johnston Avenue (Phase 2)       On its north-east side, from its junction with Ledi View to its junction with Adamson Place from 7-10-22 until 4-11-22 to facilitate resurfacing works.

Please note these are rolling works and works will only take place on one street at a time.

Emergency services access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes:                   Phase 1 - Vehicles - via Adamson Place, Edzel Drive, Johnston Avenue and vice versa

                                               Pedestrians – Footpath at the rear of 1 Adamson Place, rear of 8 Ledi View, Edzell Drive, Johnston Avenue and vice versa

                                               Phase 2 – Vehicles 1 – via Adamson Place, Edzell Drive, Johnston Avenue and vice versa

                                               Phase 2 – Vehicles 2 – via Adamson Place, Edzell Drive, Johnston Avenue, Ruskie Road, Vorlich Place, Voil Road, Strathmore Drive, Etive Place and vice versa

                                               Pedestrians – via Johnston Avenue south-west side

                                               Phase 3 – n/a
