The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 1200 hours on 29 June 2019 until 1250 hours on the same day.  The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate the holding of a Public Procession in Stirling, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE

 

Length of Road in Stirling

 

Murray Place – from the junction with Station Road to the point where it meets King Street.

King Street – for its entire length.

Port Street – for its entire length (including the pedestrianised section).

Allan Park – that section from the junction with Port Street to the point where it meets King’s Park Road.

King’s Park Road – from the point where it meets Allan Park to the roundabout at the entrance to the King’s Park.

Stirling Council with the consent of the Scottish Ministers in terms of Section 16A(6) and 16B (6)(b) made the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers enabling them to do so.
