The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 0900 hours on 31 December 2017 until 0100 hours on 1 January 2018 . The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate the holding of a Special Event in Stirling, but will only have effect in relation to such part of parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, or at the direction of a Police Officer in Uniform and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

SCHEDULE 1

 

Length of Road in Stirling (roads closed from 1900 hours on 31 December 2017 until 0100 hours on 1 January 2018)

 

Ballengeich Road – for its entire length.

Ballengeich Pass – for its entire length.

Barn Road – for its entire length.

Castle Wynd – for its entire length.

Lower Castlehill – for its entire length.

Upper Castlehill – for its entire length.

 

Alternative Route

 

Broad Street, Baker Street, Corn Exchange Road, Dumbarton Road, Raploch Road, Back O’Hill Road, Lower Bridge Street, Upper Bridge Street and St Mary’s Wynd

Ballengeich Road – from the access road to the property known as Castlecroft to the point where it meets Ballengeich Pass.

Ballengeich Pass – for its entire length.

Upper Castlehill – for its entire length.
