Stirling Council with the consent of the Scottish Ministers in terms of Section 16B (6)(b) made the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers enabling them to do so.

Legislation Information

The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 1900 hours on 7 December 2017 until 2000 hours on the same day. The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate the holding of a Public Procession in Stirling, but will only have effect in relation to such part of parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, or at the direction of a Police Officer in Uniform and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Broad Street – for its entire length. Bow Street – for its entire length. Baker Street – for its entire length. Friars Street – for its entire length. Murray Place – crossing from Friars Street over to Maxwell Place. Maxwell Place – for its entire length. Goosecroft Road – crossing from Maxwell Place to Seaforth Place. Seaforth Place – for its entire length. Shore Road – from the point where it meets Seaforth Place to the junction of Forth Street. Forth Street – from the junction with Shore Road to the access to the premises commonly known as The Green Lounge. Alternative Route Not required (rolling road closure).
