Details
Date of Event: 6 October 2018 to 6 October 2018
Type Of Event: A nightclub style event will be run in the Alhambra Theatre area of the Stirling Arcade. The event is being run by experienced event organisers "Shapes events" whohave run many nights in the area of this nature including at stirling's Old Town Jail. The event will see a Chicago born and million record selling artist , Marshall Jefferson, attend Stirling to play the gig. Marshall Jefferson first topped the chart in 1986 with his hit-single "Move Your Body". He is often referred to as the Father of House music. We believe this gig represents an opportunity for Stirling to continue to build it's growing reputation as a music venue following recent successes such as Runrig's last dance. The gig will be part of a long-term programme of similar events across Scotland using quirky venues for which tickets are pre-sold. A bar will be run by Grape and Grain Promotions limited which will provide alcoholic drinks as well as a wide range of soft drinks. Free water will be available and topped up throughout the duration of the event. A capacity of 300 attendees has been set as per floor space allowed and fire exit capacity guidance. An Alcohol Managemnt Plan isin place to ensure the safety of those attending and a responsible service of alcohol is maintained. Security personnel will be hired to safeguard all areas of the event. This is further detailed in the Alcohol Management Plan which accompanies this application.
Time for Sale of Alcohol: 8.00pm on Saturday 6 October until 3.00am on Sunday 7 October 2018
