South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Kelvin Road, East Kilbride (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2021” and shall come into operation between 00:01 hours Tuesday 28 September 2021 to 2359 hours Friday 15 October 2021. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 and 2 except for vehicles associated with the carriageway resurfacing works or emergency vehicles. Schedule 1 and 2 will not be in effect concurrently.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure – Kelvin Road Phase 1
Kelvin Road will be closed between The Murray Road and Kelvin Crescent

The Murray Road, Westwood Hill, Lickprivick Road, Greenhills Road and Stroud Road

Kelvin Road will be closed between Kelvin Crescent and Stroud Road
