South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and with the approval of Scottish Ministers, make the above named Order to be observed by all vehicles.
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Fitzroy Grove, East Kilbride, Temporary Road Closure Order No.1 2020” and shall come into operation at 0900 hours on the 6 June 2020 and will remain in operation until 2300 hours on the 6 June 2020.
No person shall drive or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety owing to the Community Street Party.
Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall prevent the driving upon the said road by any vehicle which is being used in connection with the Community Street Party or by emergency service vehicles.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure - Fitzroy Grove, East Kilbride between Walpole Lane and Pelham Court.
