South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Tannin Crescent, East Kilbride, Temporary Road Closure Order No.1 2019” and shall come into operation between 0001 hours 2 December 2019 to 2359 hours 19 December 2019 and 0001 hours 7 January 2020 to 2359 hours 10 February 2020. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of Scottish Water sewer works.

Schedule 1 – Tannin Crescent, East Kilbride - will be closed between eastern gable end of No. 33a Tannin Crescent and its termination at No. 63 Tannin Crescent. Only small sections of Tannin Crescent will be closed at any one time – approximately 60 metres in length.

Alternative Route - Traffic will be diverted via Tannin Crescent, Jasmine Avenue, Lickprivick Road, Greenhills Road, Lindsayfield Road, Rosaburn Avenue, Rosaburn Crescent, Sweet Thorn Drive and vice versa.
