On 10 September 2019 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, to cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load at any time on that length of Greenlees Road, Cambuslang, west side - from a point 16 metres north of the extended north kerbline of Hamilton Street, northward for a distance of 35 metres or thereby and on the east side - - from a point 16 metres north of the extended north kerbline of Hamilton Street, northward for a distance of 29 metres or thereby. This Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public, i.e. for reasons of road safety.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on 22 October 2019 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on 22 April 2021.
