South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic Temporary Restrictions Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire A726 Strathaven Road, East Kilbride Temporary Restriction to Right Turn Order No 1. 2019” and shall come into operation at 0001 hours on the 05 August 2019 and will remain in operation to 2359 hours on the 04 February 2020. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Whilst this order remains in force no vehicles will turn right from the A726 Strathaven Road to the Calderglen Country Park main access for reason of junction improvement works.

1. Northwards, then northeastwards on the A726 Strathaven Road to the Birniehill Roundabout and return southwestwards, then southwards on the A726 Strathaven Road
