On 22 August 2018 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, to cause any vehicle to enter or be driven with the laden weight of which exceeds three tones and the width of which, inclusive of any load on the vehicle, exceeds one metre ninety centimetres on that length of Mousemill Road, Kirkfieldbank - from a point 78 metres north-west of the extended north-west parapet of Mousemill Bridge north-westward for a distance of thirty seven metres, or thereby. This Order has been made because of the likelihood of serious damage to the road.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on 21 September 2018 and will remain in operation until 2400 hours on 20 March 2020.
