South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Westwood Hill, East Kilbride, Temporary Road Closure Order No.1 2018” and shall come into operation between 0700 hours Monday 9 July 2018 to 1900 hours Sunday 22July 2018. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road resurfacing.
Schedule 1 – Westwood Hill, East Kilbride 9 July 2018 to 22 July 2018
Phase 1 - 9 July to 15 July 2018 - Westwood Hill, East Kilbride will be closed between Westwood Road and Lickprivick Road.
Phase 2 – 16 July to 22 July 2018 – Westwood Hill, East Kilbride will be closed between Lickprivick Road and The Murray Road.
Alternative Route - Traffic will be diverted via Westwood Road and The Murray Road.
