South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Overton Road, Strathaven, Temporary Road Restriction Order 2018” and shall come into operation between 0001 hours Monday 16 July 2018 to 2359 hours Wednesday 15 August 2018. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Waiting and Loading Restriction
Overton Road, Strathaven – both sides - From its junction with Commercial Road, north-westwards for a distance of 21 metres.
From the north-western gable end of No 16 Commercial Road northwards for a distance of 40 metres.
