South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Summer Fest, Bosfield Place/Morar Place, East Kilbride,Temporary Road Closure Order 2018” and shall come into operation between 0700 hours Saturday 23 June 2018 and remain in place to 1900 hours Sunday 24 June 2018.

Whilst this order remains in force no person shall drive or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of road safety owing to East Kilbride Summer Fest 2018.

Nothing in Article 2 of this order shall prevent the driving upon the said road by any vehicle which is being used in connection with the event, local residents or by emergency service vehicles.

Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure

1. Bosfield Place, East Kilbride from its junction of Old Coach Road to its termination

2. Morar Place, East Kilbride from its junction of Old Coach Road to its termination
