South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Various Roads, Strathaven, Temporary Road Closure Order No 1 2018” and shall come into operation between 0001 hours Monday 14 May 2018 to 2359 hours Tuesday 29 May 2018. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason of Scottish Power apparatus installation.
Schedule 1 – Temporary Waiting and Loading Restriction
The Ward, Strathaven – both sides - From its junction with Waterside Street, eastwards to its junction with Loudon Street then southwards along the Ward for a distance of 24 metres. A total distance of 82 metres or thereby.
