(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers, which will introduce the following restrictions to allow Scottish Power Works
Name & affected length of road – Campbell Street,Ayr - Newton On Ayr,
Road Closure - From No.16 - No.32
No Waiting - From No.16 - No.32 with parking restriction on both sides.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 10 June 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 10 June 2024 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining until 14 June 2024 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route
Alternative route - Signed via Northfield Avenue - Gordon Street - Union Avenue and vice versa .
