(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road for carriageway resurfacing.
Name of road - Maybole to Crosshill , 120m - from Ballochbroe Farm 120m Southward.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 19 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 19 April 2024 at 08:00 until 21 April 2024 at 17:00.
The road is expected to only be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - B7023 down through Crosshill, travel East along the B741 into Straiton, travel North along the B7045 up to the junction of B742, turn left and travel along B742 to the junction of B77, turn left and travel B77 into Maybole to the junction of B7023, turn left and travel onto closure..
