NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Buses to transfer passengers to and from Prestwick Railway Station for Scottish Grand National
Name & affected length of road – Allison Street Ayr ,Station Road Prestwick.
Allison Street Ayr - From Wagon Road to King Street Roundabout - Both Sides of Carriageway
Station Road Prestwick - From Prestwick Cross to Prestwick Railway Station Entrance - Both Sides of Carriageway
Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 19 April 2024 with restrictions expected to commence from 19 April 2024 at 05:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 20 April 2024 at 23:00.
The Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
