(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2024
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Rail Bridge Repairs
Name of road - U84 Cairnhill Road - for 10m either side of extents of railway bridge.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 06 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 06 May 2024 at 22:00 until 10 May 2024 at 07:00.
The road is expected to only be closed between 22:00 and 07:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
Alternative route - Signed via the B744 - U83 & vice versa.
