On 21 July 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Openreach contractors to install new cabling:-


Burnfoot Avenue - Both Sides: From Walker Avenue, northwards to boundary between Nos.37/39 Burnfoot Avenue, a distance of approximately 165 metres.


The Order commences on 2 August 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Tuesday 2 August with the restrictions introduced as the works progress being removed by 6.00pm on Saturday 6 August 2022


The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
