On 5 May 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for carriageway resurfacing -

A719 Failtoll crossroads by Lilylaw Farm – From a point just north of the junction with the B730, north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 1200 metres.

The Order commences on 16 May 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Monday 16 May until 4.00pm on Friday 27 May 2022

The road is expected to be closed between 8.00am and 4.00pm each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, businesses deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

Alternative route will be signed via C8 Craigiehill road, C92 Plewlands, B730 and the A719 in both directions.
