(B6399 WHITLAWHAUGH, SOUTH OF HAWICK)

(TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (B6399 Whitlawhaugh, South of Hawick) (Temporary 40mph Speed Restriction) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 29 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 40mph along the B6399 at Whitlawhaugh, South of Hawick.
