(COLDSTREAM BURNS CLUB BRIDGE CEREMONY)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 14:00 on 14 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 14:10. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Coldstream Burns Club Bridge Ceremony 2024.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A698 at Coldstream Bridge. Due to the length of the diversion route, traffic will be held by police officers in uniform for the duration of the closure, which will be between 10 and 15 minutes. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
