ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

DUKE STREET, HAWICK

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily close Duke Street, Hawick from Earl Street eastwards for 45 metres. The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure will be in effect from 09:30 on 12 April to 23:59 on 25 April 2024 – 24 hour closure.

The closure is required for emergency Scottish Water works.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Earl Street, Arthur Street, Noble Place and Duke Street to the point of closure. The alternative route for westbound traffic is the reverse of the foregoing.
