(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (Wyndhead Way, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 24 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water manhole repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Wyndhead Way, Lauder from Wyndhead Steading to Cranston Road.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Wyndhead Way, Maitland Road, Thirlestane Crescent and Cranston Road to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
