THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL
(STIRLING STREET, GALASHIELS) (STOPPING UP) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 2 April 2024 The Scottish Borders Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 71(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 made and confirmed the above mentioned Order.
A copy of the Order as made and confirmed and of the accompanying plan have been deposited with the Roads Planning Service (Planning, Housing and Related Services), The Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters, Newtown St. Boswells and may be inspected there free of charge from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Monday to Thursday. They are also available for inspection at the Council’s Contact Centre, Paton Street, Galashiels TD1 3AS during normal opening hours until 2 May 2024.
The effect of the Order is as stated in the Edinburgh Gazette No. 4228616 dated 9 December 2022 and the Southern Reporter dated 8 December 2022.
The Order comes into operation on 8 April 2024.
