(D76/5 HASSINGTON WEST MAINS, STICHILL)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (D76/5 Hassington West Mains, Stichill) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 25 March 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 20:00 on 29 March 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for new service connection works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D76/5 at Hassington West Mains, Stichill from the D77/5 to the C81.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C81, C45, D77/4 and D77/5 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
