(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (Hill Street, Selkirk) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 March 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 29 March 2024, as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect in Hill Street, Selkirk, no person shall:

  1. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the said road from 22 March 2024 for a period of six working days - 24 hour restriction. The no waiting restriction will not be in effect over the weekend of 23 and 24 March 2024; and
  2. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the said road from 27 March 2024 for a period of three days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. There is no alternative route.
