Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Scottish Borders

(SPRINGWOOD ROAD, BONNINGTON ROAD AND CRAIGERNE LANE, PEEBLES)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (Springwood Road, Bonnington Road and Craigerne Lane, Peebles) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a duration exceeding 18 months, will come into force on 17 October 2023 between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 on weekdays only, until such time as construction works at Peebles High School are completed. The Scottish Borders Council are satisfied that the execution of the works will take longer than eighteen months and will revoke the Order as soon as the works are completed. The Order is required to permit safe access for vehicles associated with the Peebles High School project.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the following roads in Peebles:

1. Springwood Road from Springhill Road to Bonnington Road;
2. Bonnington Road from Springwood Road to Craigerne Lane; and
3. Craigerne Lane from Bonnington Road westwards for 325 metres.
