(BORDERS FESTIVALS – INNERLEITHEN)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022
The Scottish Borders Council area making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(1)(b) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of eight days shall be in effect from 10 to 17 July 2022 at the times specified in the Schedule below. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of relevant events, being Innerleithen St Ronan’s Border Games. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
When the Order comes into effect:
- no person shall (i) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle, or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along those lengths of road on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule below; and
- The Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Innerleithen) (Regulation of Traffic) Order 1999 (as amended) will be further amended as follows: the One-Way Order on Chapel Street, Innerleithen will be suspended between the hours of 19:00 and 20:30 on 15 July 2022.
