(LAUDER CHRISTMAS LIGHT FESTIVAL)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6)(b). The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 12:30 on 4 December 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 19:30. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Lauder Christmas Light Festival.

When the Order comes into effect, in Lauder town centre, no person shall:

1. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked in the parking area in front of the Town Hall, Market Place; and
2. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mid Row - from Mill Wynd to the A68. A local diversion will be in place.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
