(B7009 CARTERHAUGH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (B7009 Carterhaugh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 September 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 1 October 2021 between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekends of 18 and 19 September and 25 and 26 September 2021. The Order is required for embankment works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7009 from its junction with the C19 to Carterhaugh, west of Selkirk.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B7039, A708, A707 and B7009 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
