(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2021

The Scottish Borders Council (Church Street, Eyemouth) (Temporary Closing) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 18:01 on 4 August 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 22 October 2021 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Church Street, Eyemouth. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Manse Road and Harbour Road to the point of closure.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.
