(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2021

 

The Scottish Borders Council (Laidlaw Terrace & Teviot Crescent, Hawick) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 18:00 on 23 July 2021 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 24 July 2021 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required to permit delivery of the new Victoria Footbridge.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the following streets in Hawick:

(a)   both sides of Laidlaw Terrace; and

(b)   Teviot Crescent from the B&M Store to the Little Haugh.
